The Importance of External motivation
None of us is self-made!
We have a lot of people in our life, who supported us, uplifted our spirits, guided us, showed us the right way, scolded us when required.
We all need motivation for sure.
Outside motivation is also important. Outside motivation does not mean that someone must come in person and motivate you to achieve your goals. Outside motivation can also come from a very simple line from one of your mentors.
Outside motivation can also come in form of a suggestion or a talk. Almost everyone in this world even the people who were first-time inventors was inspired by something or someone and that’s outside motivation or you can say external motivation.
Then why everyone is not successful?
Your next question can be that there is no dearth of external motivation in today’s world then why people are not getting success.
Success has got many ingredients. There are many factors on which the success of an individual depends and external motivation is just one of them.
Not everyone applies the inspiration they get in a consistent manner.
Some of them just get motivated temporarily. After external motivation, the intrinsic motivation helps in cruising forward and that comes from your interest in a particular area or the topic.
If you don’t have that intrinsic motivation, no external push can get you going.
